Job summary

National Trust is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator for the Clandon Project, a major heritage initiative. You will coordinate activities across internal teams and external stakeholders, with a focus on community engagement, stores, and project archive.

The role supports events and robust administration within a hybrid working pattern. Reporting to the Delivery Director, you’ll work 22.5 hours over 3 days and collaborate with project managers, volunteers and specialists.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate projects and work as part of a project team.
• Flexible and people-focused with a background in delivering client and colleague service.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication with good IT skills.
• Experience of working with volunteers and supporting them to perform.
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and collaborating with diverse people.
• A collaborative team player who supports colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide general flexible support across the project with focus on community engagement, stores, and project archive.
• Support organisation and delivery of public facing events.
• Champion open communication, record-keeping and administration.
• Be willing to get hands on and help practically with the project when needed.
• Work with senior leadership to keep the project on track and build strong relationships.
