Job summary
Boots Hearingcare in Jersey is seeking a Hearing Wellness Advisor to support customers through their hearing journey within a modern clinic. You will be the first point of contact, conduct screenings, assist with maintenance and aftercare, and help prepare patients for Audiologist consultations.
The role offers structured training, with progression to QHAD and ultimately a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist role. A strong customer service background and GCSEs are essential for entry.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C/5 or above in Maths, English, and Science.
- Strong performance and customer focus.
- Ability to balance academic study with clinical practice.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Carry out hearing screenings and pre-clinic checks.
- Support hearing aid maintenance, aftercare, and troubleshooting.
- Assist Audiologists with clinic flow and customer preparation.
- Confidently discuss hearing health, ear care products, and next steps with customers.
- Manage administration, appointments, and customer records accurately.
- Play an active role in delivering a high-quality, customer-centric service.
