Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking an organised Onboarding Coordinator for a temporary, three-month assignment in Telford. The role supports recruitment and onboarding in a healthcare/social care setting, emphasising safeguarding, compliance, and careful vetting before start.

You will manage checks, coordinate documentation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience while maintaining accurate records and supporting HR activities on a site-based basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in onboarding, recruitment, compliance, HR administration, or people support roles.
• Strong understanding of compliance and safeguarding in healthcare/social care/education or regulated environments.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new starters.
• Manage and track pre-employment checks including references, right-to-work, DBS and occupational health clearances.
• Ensure safeguarding requirements and sector-specific regulations are met.
• Liaise with candidates, hiring managers and agencies to obtain required documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding systems.
• Monitor onboarding progress and proactively resolve delays.
• Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the onboarding journey.
• Support recruitment and HR teams with general administration as required.
