Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support the recruitment and onboarding of new employees in a healthcare/social care environment. This temporary role is 3 months, site-based in Telford, full-time, with safeguarding and compliance at its core.

You will manage pre-employment checks, liaise with candidates and managers, maintain records, and ensure a smooth onboarding journey while delivering a positive candidate experience. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in onboarding, recruitment, compliance or HR administration roles.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and compliance within regulated environments (healthcare/social care).
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new starters.
• Manage and track pre-employment checks (references, right-to-work, DBS, occupational health).
• Ensure safeguarding requirements and sector-specific regulations are followed.
• Liaise with candidates, hiring managers and external agencies for documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding systems.
• Monitor onboarding progress and resolve delays.
• Provide a positive candidate experience throughout onboarding.
• Support HR and recruitment teams with general administration.
