Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a dedicated Onboarding Coordinator for a short-term temporary position in Telford. This site-based role supports recruitment and onboarding in a healthcare/social care environment, with emphasis on safeguarding, compliance and meticulous admin processes.

Ideal candidates will manage pre-employment checks, maintain records, and ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks while delivering a positive candidate experience and supporting HR teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in onboarding, recruitment, compliance, HR administration or people support roles.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and compliance in regulated environments.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• High accuracy and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new starters.
• Manage and track pre-employment checks (references, right-to-work, DBS, occupational health).
• Ensure safeguarding requirements and sector regulations are followed.
• Liaise with candidates, hiring managers and external agencies to obtain documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding systems.
• Monitor onboarding progress and resolve delays proactively.
