Job Summary

Working under the direct supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse who delegates tasks to the post holder, the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) will deliver high quality nursing care to patients as part of a team. The HCA is responsible for their own practice, working within the defined limits of competence and scope of the role, while the registered nurse retains accountability for the care delivered. Successful candidates will have a genuine desire to become a part of our amazing team, provide outstanding care, work well within a team, and be hardworking, compassionate, and passionate about caring for this client group.

Hours of work are full‑time 37.5 hours per week; part‑time requests will not be considered. Work placements will align with the vacancy pipeline and specific area requests cannot be accommodated.

Main Duties
  • Deliver high quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Work within the defined limits of competence and scope of the role.
  • Participate in daily supervision and training sessions to perform clinical skills safely, confidently, and competently.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate good organisational skills.
