Job summary

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is seeking a Customer Services Advisor on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, based at Leicester Hospital.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality customer service, manage inquiries, handle patient registrations, and coordinate appointments while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all data handling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative or office-based environment.
• Strong communication skills with confidence engaging with the public and healthcare professionals.
• Competence and confidence using IT systems, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality client service and positive customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Consistently providing high-quality customer service.
• Managing enquiries, escalating complex issues to senior staff when appropriate.
• Entering client data and completing patient registration in line with standards and timescales.
• Communicating professionally and maintaining confidentiality of client information.
• Preparing standard departmental reports as required.
• Scheduling, rescheduling and coordinating appointments; managing availability of consultation rooms and consultants.
