Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a full-time Band 4 Business Support Team Leader to join the Torbay Hospital team at John Parkes site, Torbay. You will lead a team of administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of physical health pathways across Torbay and South Devon.

Based at John Parkes site, the role focuses on proactive management, data validation, mailbox management and clinic planning within a supportive NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Good general education e.g. GCSEs or equivalent.
• NVQ level 4 Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Qualification in supervisory or line management or relevant experience to NVQ 4 or equivalent level.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day line management of up to eight direct reports.
• Address management issues such as workload, performance and absence.
• Manage mailbox and calendar oversight for the team.
• Plan clinics and coordinate scheduling activities.
• Validate data to ensure accuracy across systems.
• Oversee building compliance and related processes.
