David Lloyd Leisure is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to act as Duty Manager and ensure smooth club operations with strict health, safety and compliance adherence.

You will lead a team, train staff to company standards, and manage a network of self-employed contractors while maintaining high service levels for members and guests. A passionate customer-service mindset is required.

Formación

• Requires IOSH/NEBOSH or other recognised H&S qualification.
• Requires Facilities Management qualification (HND, Diploma).
• Strong understanding and experience of health and safety regulations.
• Experience in maintaining a facility.
• Experience in managing a service-led facility.
• Passionate about customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Regularly act as Duty Manager, ensuring smooth operation of the club and compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Lead and train a team in line with company expectations; manage self-employed contractors.
• Oversee day-to-day health and safety, and maintain facilities standards.

Our team members are the ambassadors of our business and the heart of what we do. We are on the look out for a passionate Health and Safety Manager to join our team!

As Health and Safety Manager you will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking accountability for ensuring the smooth operation of the club and ensuring day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to. You will lead a team and ensure all are trained in line with company expectations as well as manage a team of self-employed contactors.

As Health and Safety Manager, we are looking for someone who:

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification
• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)
• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
• Passionate about customer service.
