Health & Safety Manager

Location: London
Contract: Interim
Rate: £550–£700 per day (Umbrella)

We are recruiting Interim Health & Safety Managers to support the delivery of one of the largest infrastructure projects in a generation. The programme includes major works such as tunnels, bridges, viaducts, embankments and cuttings.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors and delivery partners operate in full compliance with H&S legislation
• Provide on‑site H&S leadership across complex construction environments
• Engage and influence construction and contractor teams to drive safe working practices
• Support risk‑based Health, Safety and Security operational assurance
• Contribute to incident investigations and assurance reviews
• Support and deputise for the Senior Health, Safety & Security Manager as required

Essential Experience & Knowledge

• Extensive Health & Safety management experience on large infrastructure or major construction projects
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, occupational health and security requirements
• Experience delivering assurance across complex programmes with multiple stakeholders
• Proven experience contributing to investigations and continuous improvement
