If so, our client is looking for a dynamic Health & Safety Compliance Manager to lead their Health, Safety, and Compliance functions across Parks and Open Spaces!

About the Role:

In this exciting position, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our operational teams, parks, public spaces, and facilities maintain the highest standards of safety and legal compliance. Your expertise will help foster a proactive culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and revise health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
  • Deliver engaging toolbox talks and training sessions, focusing on emerging risks and best practices.
  • Monitor contractor compliance and review their risk assessments and safety plans.
  • Manage contractors effectively, ensuring their RAMS meet the required standards.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing H&S policies and procedures.
  • Strong background in conducting audits, inspections, and safety investigations.
  • Excellent communication skills for training delivery and guidance.
  • Experience managing contractor compliance and reviewing safety documentation.

Essential Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or General Certificate with relevant experience.
  • Membership of IOSH.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • 5+ years of experience in Health & Safety, ideally with Compliance or Quality exposure.
