Overview

Health & Safety Advisor - West Midlands

360 Recruitment are currently assisting a specialist contractor in their search for a Health & Safety Advisor based out of their West Midlands office.

This opportunity is working on demolition schemes up to £20million+ in value.

You will be supporting the Health & Safety Manager, taking ownership of site safety across a range of exciting projects nationwide.

Job role: Health & Safety Advisor

Location: West Midlands (with travel to sites nationwide)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependant on years of experience, skills & qualifications) + package

Responsibilities
  • Notifying Health & Safety Manager of all incidents in accordance with company procedures.
  • Producing health & safety risk assessments for site staff, ensuring that safe working methods are adhered to.
  • Conducting health & safety site audits and inspections.
  • Monitor on-site health and safety practices and provide recommendations to the Site Manager to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement safety and quality control plans.
  • Ensure that all projects are undertaken and completed with Health & Safety as the utmost priority.
Requirements
  • Valid First Aid and Black CSCS/CCDO card.
  • Experience within the demolition or construction industry.
  • NVQ L6 in Occupational Health & Safety / NEBOSH Diploma.
