A healthcare organization in Heywood is looking for a Health Care Assistant to support patients with daily living activities and rehabilitation. Ideal candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare, good communication skills, and relevant experience in health or social care. The role offers a competitive salary of £24,937 to £26,598 per annum. Flexible working opportunities and a supportive work environment are also provided.

Tudor Court is a 24 bedded unenhanced Intermediate Care Unit medical for patients who require reablement and rehabilitation. The Unit is staffed by Unregistered Team Leaders and Health Care Assistants. There is also a dedicated therapy team who work collaboratively with the care staff.
All posts are rotational and you will be required to work days/nights/weekends and Bank Holidays.
Health Care Assistant duties will be to support the Team Leader in all aspects of caring for patients on the unit.
Changes to the UK immigration policy introduced on the 9th April 2025, increased the minimum salary threshold for certificates of sponsorship applications for Health and Care Worker Visa from £23,200 (£11.90 per hour) to £25,000 (£12.82 per hour). As per Agenda for Change, if you are new to the NHS your starting salary would be £24,937 (minimum Band 3 salary point from 1st April 2025 in line with National Living Wage requirements). This salary point is below the new minimum threshold, and therefore not eligible for sponsorship.
