A well-respected educational institution in Cardiff is seeking a Health and Safety Manager. This part-time role (60% FTE) involves promoting a culture of health and safety, reviewing policies, and managing site safety within a supportive environment. Candidates should have experience in health and safety management and hold a NEBOSH General Certificate. An opportunity has arisen at St David’s Catholic College for a people-centred Health and Safety Manager to help us maintain a safe, supportive and thriving environment for our students, staff and visitors. This is a health and wellbeing-focused role in a low-risk but high population setting, where creating a positive culture matters just as much as meeting compliance standards. You will work closely with academic teams, Estates, People and Culture, Student Services and external partners to ensure our site remains a safe, welcoming space for all. This role suits someone who can balance hands-on support with strategic oversight.
The position is offered as a 60% FTE PART TIME role on a PERMANENT contract, and it attracts an actual salary of £26,304.41.

The College operates a Sixth Form College academic year and therefore the Autumn Term begins in late August to allow for enrolment activities.
