Job summary

Polaris Education - Morley School in Maidenhead seeks a forward-thinking Head Teacher to lead a new venture, shaping the educational experience for pupils with complex needs. The role requires strategic vision, safeguarding leadership and strong community collaboration.

You will drive curriculum enhancement, staff development and partnerships with families while ensuring adherence to standards and a holistic approach to pupil growth.

Qualifications

• QTS with Primary/Secondary teaching experience required.
• First degree and/or NPQH preferred.
• Experience with SEN students and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership to develop and implement a vision aligned with Polaris Community values.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead; implement safeguarding policies and ensure compliance.
• Adapt and enhance the curriculum to meet diverse needs and ensure engaging learning.
• Champion pastoral care and SEN advocacy, focusing on EHCP objectives and student wellbeing.
• Support and mentor staff, promoting professional growth and collaborative practice.
• Engage with parents, carers and external partners to build a strong school community.
