Job summary

Senploy seeks a compassionate Head Teacher to lead a nurturing, inclusive school in Maidenhead for students aged 5–18 with complex needs. You will form a new team, shape the educational experience, and ensure safeguarding and compliance with Independent School Standards and the Education Inspection Framework.

You will drive a vision of compassionate, personalized learning, tailor curricula for SEN, mentor staff, engage parents and partners, and deliver strong outcomes for vulnerable children.

Qualifications

• QTS with Primary/Secondary teaching experience.
• Experience working with SEN students.
• Proven leadership skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Educational Leadership: lead the school to align with Polaris Community ethos and education standards.
• Safeguarding: act as designated safeguarding lead and implement safeguarding policies.
• Curriculum Enhancement: tailor the curriculum to diverse SEN needs.
• Pastoral Care: support emotional well-being and advocate for SEN students.
