Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment in Wrexham is recruiting a Technical Manager for a leading food manufacturer. You will own the Technical, QA and compliance functions and work with retail customers to ensure food safety and quality across a high-volume site.

The ideal candidate has technical management experience in food manufacturing, strong HACCP/BRCGS knowledge, audits leadership and a track record of developing teams.

Qualifications

Technical Management experience in Food Manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS standards and retailer requirements.
Experience leading customer audits in fast-paced production.
Proven ability to develop and coach teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the site technical agenda, overseeing Technical, Quality & Compliance.
Maintain and enhance food safety, quality and compliance systems across the factory.
Act as primary contact for customer, retailer and third-party audits; drive outcomes.
Oversee HACCP activities and ensure highest standards of product manufacture.
Investigate quality and food safety issues; identify trends and preventative actions.
Collaborate with Production, NPD and Process teams to support quality and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement and modernise technical systems and processes.
