Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is representing a growing food manufacturing business in the Worcestershire area to appoint a Technical Manager who will support the Head of Technical across quality, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on maintaining site standards, leading audits and HACCP documentation, and driving improvements within technical and operational teams.

Qualifications

HACCP Level 3 or 4 qualification.
Food Safety Level 3 or 4 qualification.
Strong understanding of food safety, quality systems and audit requirements.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Support the Head of Technical with the day-to-day management of technical and quality systems.
Ensure site compliance with all food safety, quality and legal requirements.
Maintain and develop HACCP systems and associated documentation.
Lead and support customer, retailer and third-party audits.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across technical and operational functions.
Manage internal audits and corrective action programmes.
Assist with investigations relating to quality incidents, customer complaints and non-conformances.
Support training and development initiatives across the wider business.
Collaborate with production and operational teams to maintain the highest standards.
Ensure all technical documentation and records are maintained accurately.
