Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment Ltd. is sourcing a Technical Manager for a major food manufacturer in Wrexham. You will oversee the Technical, Quality & Compliance functions and own the site’s food safety and quality programs.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of HACCP/BRCGS and retailer requirements, with a track record of successful audits and team development. 8am-5pm, with attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical Management or senior technical leadership within Food Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS standards, retailer requirements and food legislation.
• Experience leading customer audits in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proven ability to develop teams and drive improvements in quality and safety.
• Food-related degree is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site technical agenda across Technical, Quality & Compliance.
• Maintain and enhance food safety, quality and compliance systems.
• Act as main contact for customer, retailer and third-party audits; drive outcomes.
