Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is recruiting for a Technical Manager - Food Manufacturing in Wrexham. You will lead the site’s Technical, Quality & Compliance agenda, driving food safety and quality across the factory while ensuring audits and ongoing compliance with retailer requirements.

The role demands strong HACCP knowledge, experience with BRCGS standards, and a track record of developing teams in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Technical leadership in Food Manufacturing with site-wide responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, retailer requirements and legislation.
• Experience leading customer audits in fast-paced production.
• Proven track record of developing teams and improving food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site Technical, Quality & Compliance agenda.
• Maintain and enhance food safety and quality systems.
• Act as main contact for audits and ensure successful outcomes.
• Oversee HACCP activities and high standards.
• Investigate issues, identify trends, implement preventative actions.
• Collaborate with Production, NPD and Process teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and modernise technical systems.
