Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Technical Manager in Worcestershire to support the Head of Technical across quality and compliance activities. The role focuses on maintaining site standards, driving compliance, and improving technical processes with a collaborative team.

The post requires HACCP and Food Safety qualifications, plus experience in technical/quality roles within food manufacturing. A proactive, well-organised professional will thrive in a flat, trust-based culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Technical, Quality or Compliance role.
• HACCP Level 3 or 4 or equivalent.
• Food Safety Level 3 or 4 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Technical with day-to-day management of technical and quality systems.
• Ensure site compliance with all food safety, quality and legal requirements.
• Maintain and develop HACCP systems and documentation.
• Lead and support audits from customers, retailers and third parties.
• Drive continuous improvement across technical and operational functions.
• Manage internal audits and corrective action programmes.
• Assist investigations relating to quality incidents and non-conformances.
• Support training and development across the business.
• Collaborate with production and operations to uphold high standards.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and records.
