About Us
We tackle the most complex problems in quantitative finance by bringing scientific clarity to financial complexity.
From our London HQ we unite world‑class researchers and engineers in an environment that values deep exploration and methodical execution – because the best ideas take time to evolve. Together we’re building a world‑class platform to amplify our teams’ most powerful ideas.
The role
Leading the Quantitative Research and Trading Architecture team
- Providing strategic direction and day‑to‑day leadership for the architecture team supporting quantitative research data engineering model lifecycle and client trading platforms
- Owning and evolving the end‑to‑end architectural blueprint for the quant domain ensuring it enables low‑latency execution, scalable research environments and robust production systems
Collaborating with engineering and quant teams
- Partnering closely with Engineering Tech Leads, Quant Developers and Research Engineering teams to build and deliver aligned technology roadmaps
- Ensuring short‑term delivery remains consistent with longer‑term architectural goals across research infrastructure, data platforms, model deployment and client trading systems
Driving innovation in research and trading tooling
- Fostering a culture of technical innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement within the architecture team
- Identifying and adopting emerging technologies across high‑performance computing, cloud, data engineering, model‑lifecycle tooling and low‑latency infrastructure that improve research velocity, model robustness and outcomes
Ensuring architectural cohesion across the firm
- Working closely with architects across infrastructure, security, data and application domains to align on architectural patterns, platforms and standards
- Designing for interoperability across research, trading, risk and operational systems, promoting a cohesive and extensible technology ecosystem
Shaping the firm’s broader technology agenda
- Collaborating with the CTO, Chief Architect and wider Technology leadership group to influence and implement firm‑wide architectural strategy
- Translating emerging business and quantitative needs into cross‑cutting technical initiatives that enhance the firm’s long‑term research capabilities
