Head of Product
Reports to: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Location: Hybrid - home/office. Salisbury office with regular travel to London and Belfast offices.
Role Purpose
Private equity backed Insurtech, Tedaisy Insurance Group, is seeking a Head of Product to build and lead the product function from the ground up; setting the frameworks, tooling and culture that connect business strategy with technology delivery. You will be accountable for ensuring that every initiative is measurable, aligned to business OKRs and directly contributes to EBITDA growth. This role is both strategic and hands‑on: you’ll define the vision, develop the team, and embed a modern, data‑driven product culture across the organisation.
About Tedaisy
Tedaisy is a fast‑growing tech‑enabled pet health insurance MGA with hundreds of thousands of pets insured. Operating in the UK under the brands Perfect Pet and Now Pet Insurance, Tedaisy brands centre on raising the bar in insurance tech with a customer‑centric approach to technology, experience and innovation. In 2025, Tedaisy signed a strategic investment agreement with Santevet Group, the European leader in pet health insurance, and Columna Capital.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Establish and lead the Product function at Tedaisy, including recruitment, coaching, and development of Product Managers and Product Owners.
- Define and implement the Product Operating Model, ensuring consistent governance, prioritisation and communication across all initiatives.
- Partner with the CIO and executive leadership to define and deliver against business‑level OKRs aligned with EBITDA and growth objectives.
- Translate business OKRs into measurable KPIs and product initiatives that can be delivered, tracked, and iterated upon.
- Build cross‑functional collaboration with Marketing, Pricing, Operations, and Finance to ensure initiatives are commercially and operationally sound.
Product Strategy & Execution
- Own the group‑wide product roadmap — prioritising initiatives that drive acquisition, retention, and operational efficiency.
- Champion data‑driven decision making, ensuring that all product activity is measurable and linked to business outcomes.
- Lead product discovery and hypothesis development — validating through research, analytics, and structured experimentation (A/B testing, pilots, MVPs).
- Partner with Engineering, Data, and Platform teams to ensure all initiatives are technically feasible, scalable and secure.
- Define ROI for each initiative and continually optimise investment decisions based on measurable outcomes.
- Drive a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement using a “test ‑ measure ‑ learn ‑ adapt” approach.
Governance, Reporting & Communication
- Create transparent reporting mechanisms to communicate progress, learnings, and impact to senior stakeholders.
- Act as the single point of accountability for business outcomes within your domain (e.g., Acquisition, Retention, Churn).
- Ensure product discovery and delivery activities are aligned with compliance, ISO 27001, and governance standards.
- Embed tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Hotjar, Aha, Jira) to provide real‑time visibility of performance and progress.
Culture & Enablement
- Build an empowered product culture focused on autonomy with accountability.
- Foster collaboration between Product, Engineering, Data, and Platform functions.
- Encourage curiosity, continuous learning, and experimentation within the team.
- Lead with transparency — ensuring everyone understands the “why” behind every initiative.

Experience And Skills
- Proven experience as Head of Product or senior leadership role in a technology‑driven environment.
- Demonstrated success establishing or scaling a product organisation from inception.
- Experience working in SaaS, insurance, or financial services (highly desirable).
- Strong commercial mindset — proven ability to connect product delivery with business performance.
- Expertise in OKR frameworks, agile delivery, and data‑driven product management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at C‑suite level.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaboration across departments.
Desirable
- Experience with A/B testing, analytics, and experimentation platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure ecosystem and product governance within ISO 27001 environments.
- Exposure to AI‑driven product development or data‑led platforms.
