A leading insurance company in Guildford is seeking a Head of Pricing Development to oversee pricing strategies and lead a team of pricing professionals. This hybrid role requires significant experience in insurance pricing and data science, along with strong leadership capabilities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Pricing Development in our Animal Health Pricing team. This strategic leadership role entails overseeing a team of six direct reports, with considerable scope and influence within the organization. You will be responsible to manage the development and deployment of tariff pricing engines and creation of impact analysis tools in order to support achieving the underwriting performance metrics detailed in the Corporate Plan. The Head of Pricing Development will be committed to perpetually seeking innovation across all dimensions of pricing, including data analytics, software tooling, technical methodologies, and price optimisation to effectively deliver our sophisticated pricing strategies to the market.
The team is responsible for the creation of Scenario Testing tools, Radar Live pricing engines, and conversion models, thereby playing a central role in the realization of the company's strategic objectives.
This position is structured as a hybrid role, based at our Guildford office, with an expectation to work onsite 50% of the time.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
You'll be at the sharp end of our business, delivering analytical models that are used to drive commercial decisions, solve challenging problems, and deliver enhancements to our products and pricing techniques.
