The Opportunity

As Head of Operations, you'll lead the day-to-day activities of the warehouse while championing transformation across systems, processes, and team culture. Responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement best practices.
• Develop and inspire a high-performing team through leadership and accountability.
• Design and implement SOPs to improve accuracy and throughput.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean principles and data-driven decision making.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Manage inventory control and conduct regular stock takes.
• Collaborate with leadership to align operations with business goals.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and pride in performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience managing a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Track record of delivering operational change and cultural transformation.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies (a plus).
• Hands-on, solution-focused approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Basic salary: Up to £70k (negotiable based on experience).
