Clinical Study Operations Manager - UK & Ireland focused

Title: Clinical Study Operations Manager - must have experience in managing studies in the UK & Ireland

Location: UK, remote

Working fully embedded within an expanding program, the Study Operations Manager will have responsibilities for study and regional or country-level activities from study startup through conduct and close. The Study Operations Manager is responsible for study management aspects of studies of limited complexity (e.g., single country, few sites) or managing a specific part of a larger study (e.g., recruitment and retention). You will be accountable for executing tasks of moderate complexity and developing solutions to support deliverables.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Regional/Country/Study level implementation of Startup and Site Activation Plans (through SUPM or pCRO if assigned)
  2. Regional/Country/Study level Recruitment Strategy
  3. Supporting the development of study-level plans
  4. Communicating with local teams and internal stakeholders, including pCRO, to ensure efficient and timely study delivery
  5. Managing study and vendor relationships, including follow-up and oversight of vendor deliverables
  6. Coordinating follow-up on study issues such as QEs, PDs, data concerns, metrics, site risks, and audit responses
  7. Working independently and exercising judgment in task execution
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • MBA/MS or 3+ years of industry trial management experience
  • Extensive experience within the UK market
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, clinical and regulatory operations in responsible countries
  • Full right to work in the UK
