An educational institution in Burnley seeks a Network Services and IT Support Manager to oversee IT functions and infrastructure. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Network Services and IT Support Manager to join Burnley College. Our Network Services and IT Support Manager will plan, lead and manage the development of the Network Services and IT functions and develop policies and procedures for the day-to-day administration of infrastructure and IT processes. The successful candidate will plan and manage delegated College staffing, revenue, and capital budgets as efficiently and effectively as possible and within agreed strategies.
You will ideally possess a degree or equivalent level qualification and have an understanding of relevant data protection and legislation and requirements. You will also have significant knowledge and experience of working as an IT Manager or relevant experience and the successful planning and implementation of whole organisation IT systems and projects. Ideally you will have experience of administration of cloud-based and third-party network services and of working in the Further Education sector, however this is not essential.
The salary for this post is up to £63,381. The location for this role is on site delivery. The closing date for this post is 4.30pm, Friday 16 January 2026.
