Barchester is seeking a Head of Maintenance for a care home to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will lead maintenance tasks across the building, gardens, and grounds, and supervise a small team to deliver hands-on work and planned improvements.

The role involves coordinating with contractors, supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning, and prioritising resident comfort and safety through reliable upkeep and proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a care or housing setting.
• Hands-on maintenance across building and grounds.
• Reliable, flexible with working hours and driving.
• IT literacy and GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
