Our client, a leading player in the Tech sector for the UK, is seeking a Head of Growth Marketing. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the success of the business. You will bring strong industry knowledge and creative flair to shape and influence impactful solutions and strategies for the organization. Your primary purpose is to develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies focused on increasing client acquisition, expanding the client base, and contributing to revenue, EBITDA, and market share performance. You will lead a dynamic marketing team, collaborate cross-functionally, and utilize external networks to gather insights and drive data-driven campaigns across various channels, increasing demand and demonstrating ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy
- Lead the development and implementation of cross-functional growth marketing strategies to drive business growth and revenue, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives through collaboration with executive and senior leaders.
- Oversee the creation of performance marketing campaigns aimed at new client acquisition and client expansion, utilizing ABM, SEO/SEM, paid advertising, content, and social media marketing.
- Develop a brand strategy to craft a unique and compelling position within the sector, maintaining brand integrity across channels.
- Enhance brand preference and salience incrementally.
- Foster increased collaboration between marketing and business groups, strategizing with operational leadership to improve alignment across teams, regions, and functions.
- Go To Market (GTM) Strategy
- Analyze market research and external networks to identify trends, competitive analysis, and growth opportunities. Collaborate with product and sales teams to ensure market fit and client-centric products.
- Lead the creation of the GTM strategy with input from Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Manage product positioning, launch strategies, and market entry planning in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Define and manage the product lifecycle marketing roadmap.
- Marketing Performance Impact
- Establish marketing metrics based on data analytics to inform decision-making, optimize multi-channel performance, and improve media ROI.
- Implement A/B testing and incremental testing to optimize new channels and grow existing ones.
- Communicate marketing activities, insights, and successes across the organization.
- Team Leadership
- Lead a small team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and high performance.
- Advocate for client-centric thinking within marketing and the wider business.
- Support and coach team members through regular 1:1s, reviews, and development initiatives.
The ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or substantial relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in marketing within the technology sector, with a proven record of leading successful demand-generation campaigns.
- Demonstrable leadership and people management skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
