Who we're looking for:

We’re looking for aHead of Growth & Marketingto take Simpler’s brand awareness, customer acquisition, and virality to the next level. This is not a traditional marketing role. We’re not looking for someone to manage big-budget paid ads or delegate campaigns to agencies. We need a creative and data-obsessed marketer who thrives on experimentation, isn’t afraid to test unconventional channels, and knows how to get people talking.

You’ll be in charge of making Simpler the name merchants and shoppers associate with effortless checkout. That means thinking beyond performance marketing - community-building, partnerships, referral loops, influencer campaigns, and creative guerrilla tactics are all on the table.

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Has a builder mentality- you’re not here to just optimise an existing playbook; you’ll be writing it from scratch.
  • Thinks like a founder- you take ownership, move fast, and make smart bets.
  • Can balance creativity and data- you have a strong intuition for what works but always validate with numbers.
  • Knows how to make things go viral- you’re constantly thinking about how to get people talking about your product.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build & execute growth strategies to acquire and retain merchants - from performance marketing to out-of-the-box growth hacks.
  • Test, iterate, and scale the most effective customer acquisition and brand-building tactics.
  • Manage & optimise paid channels- but also explore organic, partnerships, referral loops, and viral campaigns.
  • Develop content & thought leadership to establish Simpler as the leader in seamless checkout.
  • Work closelywith sales, product, and engineering to make growth an embedded part of Simpler’s strategy.
  • Hack distribution - whether through partnerships, influencers, events, or organic marketing - whatever drives results.

What you bring:

  • Experience across multiple acquisition channels (paid, organic, viral, partnerships, influencer, etc.).
  • A test-and-learn mindset- you move quickly, measure everything, and aren’t afraid to fail fast.
  • Strong analytical skills - you know how to set KPIs, track performance, and optimise for results.
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS, e-commerce, or fintech - bonus if you’ve worked on checkout, payments, or conversion optimisation
