Job description

London - Hybrid - 2 days per week in office, 3 days remote (or office if you prefer!)

Occasional travel to our Sheffield office (paid)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Goodlord’s mission is to provide the best renting experience in the world and we’re on the hunt for a high performing, data-driven Head of Growth Marketing to join the team. You will own the growth marketing roadmap- focusing on improving and implementing channels for exponential growth. This role will be the second most senior role in the Marketing Team and will deputise for the Marketing Director when required. We are looking for a leader who can inspire trust, and drive action.

No two days are ever the same at Goodlord so what you’ll be up to will vary. The pace we move at also means priorities will change and you’ll need to be comfortable with this. But these are the things that will be core to your role and will keep you busy.

The day to day stuff:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy to drive new customer acquisition, managing CAC and expanding brand presence across key channels.

  • Align marketing activity to broader business goals and ensure long-term strategy scales with the business and the broader market.

  • Utilise data analytics, performance metrics, and customer insights to refine and optimise ROI across channels.

  • Full ownership of the growth marketing budget and customer acquisition costs (CAC) and reporting on performance to the Senior Leadership Team, including the CFO.

  • Develop and execute a successful strategy to achieve enterprise sales growth through effective ABM initiatives.

  • Manage strategic partnerships, driving the development and execution of initiatives that generate new revenue for the business.

  • Oversee and optimise the customer acquisition funnel, from awareness to conversion, ensuring a deep customer understanding, effective targeting, messaging, and segmentation.

  • Complete ownership of the website, including optimising user experience and conversion rates to drive new leads.

  • Drive the creation of compelling content, email marketing, and campaigns to engage prospects and nurture leads through the sales pipeline.

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing growth marketing team, setting clear goals, tracking performance, and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture.

ABOUT YOU

You should apply if you:

  • Have a proven track record of delivering results within B2B SaaS marketing, with deep expertise in demand generation, content marketing and data-driven decision making.

  • Have achieved material increases to customer acquisition and brand presence through delivering a successful growth marketing strategy.

  • Bring strong expertise in data analytics, customer segmentation, and performance tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mixpanel).

  • Can demonstrate deep experience working with messaging frameworks to drive effective campaign messaging.

  • Have excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing marketing teams.

  • Have the ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills - evidenced through strong copy writing skills and verbally where you have examples of clearly articulating a vision to Stakeholders in a way that inspires, influences and builds trust and confidence.

  • Have the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

  • Bring a data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation, testing, and scaling marketing initiatives.
