Job summary

Haven in Ayr is seeking a Head of Facilities to lead a large team across maintenance, facilities management, security and cleaning at Craig Tara Holiday Park. The role focuses on safe, clean environments and guest satisfaction, with a hands-on leadership style to drive performance and growth.

You will mentor managers, manage budgets and resources, and ensure compliance with company policies, regulations and standards. This is a full-time, permanent position offering up to 25% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Senior-level facilities management experience is essential.
• Vendor management and strong negotiating skills are required.
• Proven leadership, organisation and ability to grow the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Facilities Team with clear goals.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle escalations promptly.
• Develop strategic plans including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Educate and appraise team members to foster growth and development.
• Improve operations across maintenance, caravan siting and cleaning.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for growth opportunities.
• Maintain safety and compliance in gas, water, electricity and drainage.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on achievements and plans.
