Job summary

La Fosse is partnering with a high-growth SaaS business to appoint a Head of Engineering. You will report to the CTO and lead delivery, strategy, and organisational effectiveness while driving AI adoption across a multi-site product-focused tech team.

With ~22 engineers across three squads, you will shape an AI-native engineering culture, hire leaders, and scale the organisation as the company transitions to a stronger product-led model.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in SaaS.
• Experience delivering AI-native engineering practices.
• Ability to scale engineering in a product-led organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering function end-to-end, including delivery and strategy.
• Develop and coach the leadership team to high performance.
• Drive AI-native development practices across the lifecycle.
• Partner with Product and Commercial leadership to shift to product-led growth.
• Establish and track engineering metrics to improve predictability.
• Build capabilities across the organisation, addressing gaps.
• Ensure delivery health, reliability and cloud operations.
• Advise executives with clear, evidence-based decisions.
• Support growth objectives by scaling the engineering organisation.
