Job summary

La Fosse is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager for an AI Platform in London. You will lead a team of seven engineers, shaping the platform that powers AI-driven personalization, prediction and intelligent user experiences used by millions.

This role combines architecture and strategy with hands-on delivery, and requires strong stakeholder management. You will collaborate with Product, Data and Executive leadership and work with external AI partners including OpenAI, Anthropic and Google to

Qualifications

Experience leading engineering teams in a product-focused environment.
Strong architecture and system design capabilities.
Commercial experience delivering AI/ML products to production.
Experience with AI platforms and LLMs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of seven experienced engineers, including Principal Engineers.
Drive delivery across a business-critical AI Platform that supports teams across the organisation.
Shape technical direction through architecture and system design rather than day-to-day coding.
Balance product priorities with engineering excellence, ensuring AI capabilities deliver measurable business outcomes.
Partner closely with Product and senior leadership to translate strategy into execution.
Build scalable AI infrastructure that enables new AI-powered products and features.
Manage strategic relationships with external AI partners and technology providers.
80% leadership/strategy, 20% technical through system design.
