Our Client is seeking an Interim Head of Credit Risk with extensive experience in mortgages. This is a short-term contract role with an immediate start.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience working within mortgages
• Practical experience managing credit risk throughout the credit cycle
• Experience with expert, judgmental, and portfolio/modelled lending approaches
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and embed risk management frameworks and collaborate with internal and external partners
• Experience enhancing management information systems for oversight and decision-making
• Understanding of the regulatory environment related to credit risk and UK banking/financial market trends
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Previous experience presenting to Boards, non-executive directors, or regulators
• Ability to promote a positive risk culture within teams
