Job Description:

Our Client is seeking an Interim Head of Credit Risk with strong mortgages experience. This is a short-term contract role with an immediate start.

Key Requirements:

• A career history within mortgages
• Practical experience managing credit risk through the credit life cycle
• Experience with expert and judgmental lending approaches and portfolio/modelled approaches
• Experience developing and embedding risk management frameworks, collaborating with internal and external partners
• Developing and integrating management information capabilities for oversight and decision-making
• Understanding of the regulatory environment related to credit risk and UK banking/financial market trends
• Leading continuous improvements in business-as-usual activities
• Experience presenting to Board, Non-executive directors, or regulators
• Promoting a positive risk culture within teams
