Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Interim Head of Credit Risk with strong mortgages experience. This is a short-term contract role with an immediate start.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience within mortgages
• Practical experience managing credit risk throughout the credit cycle
• Experience with expert, judgmental, and portfolio/modelled lending approaches
• Experience developing and embedding risk management frameworks, collaborating with internal and external partners
• Ability to develop and enhance management information capabilities for oversight and decision-making
• Understanding of the regulatory environment related to credit risk and UK banking/financial services trends and upcoming regulations
• Experience leading continuous improvements in business-as-usual activities
• Experience presenting to Boards, Non-executive Directors, or regulators
• Ability to promote a positive risk culture within teams and the organization
