Job description

A small international bank is looking for an experienced Head of Compliance (SMF16). Your responsibilities will include :

• Define / implement / maintain effective compliance and regulatory reporting
• Conduct policies / procedures / monitoring controls / governance to ensure compliance with all UK regulatory requirements
• Conduct risk and control assessments
• Maintenance of London’s compliance risk appetite
• Provide guidance and training on compliance and new regulatory developments
• Serve as the point of contact for UK regulatory authorities
• Collaborate and report with Head Office on compliance issues
• Support auditors, both internal and external

Your experience must include :

• Extensive proven compliance experience as Head of Compliance in banking at SMF16 level
• Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral

This role will be hybrid – working 4 days a week in the office and 1 day remotely
