This studio is, for many designers, their dream studio. While others have copied their style, this studio continues to lead because they continue to innovate. Their award winning work is regularly featured in House and Garden and Architectural Digest. Based in a picturesque studio, this team of 25 works across luxury residential and hospitality design. The studio is known to develop and reward their team. They offer two days working from home.

Opportunity

As the leader of the FF&E team, your focus will be on driving the delivery of thoughtful, high-quality packages across a range of hospitality and private residential projects. With a strong eye for detail and a hands‑on, solutions‑oriented approach, you’ll oversee the sourcing, specification, and design of furniture, lighting, and finishes, guiding the development of bespoke pieces and coordinating with artisans and suppliers to bring each concept to life. You’ll direct and mentor team members to ensure every element aligns with the broader design narrative.

Qualifications
  • Experience in both hospitality and residential sectors preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E suppliers, trade pricing, and project budgeting.
  • Extensive understanding of antiques, furniture, art, lighting, textiles, and decorative objects.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Founder and Creative/Project Directors to guide the FF&E department and uphold high design standards.
  • Manage and mentor a small FF&E team, including recruitment, development, and performance oversight.
  • Inspire the studio with new ideas, sourcing unique furniture, antiques, and art.
  • Oversee the development of design schemes and presentations, including mood and material boards.
  • Deliver confident, engaging pitches and presentations to clients.
  • Manage design coordination on live projects through site visits, liaising with suppliers, and ensure alignment with design intent and studio standards.
  • Oversee the sample library, maintaining accurate and up-to-date materials and supplier information.
  • Lead the procurement process, including timelines, inventories, budgets, and supervision of the Procurement Manager.
  • Coordinate FF&E installations with the internal team and external specialists.
