Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic European Head of Marketing to lead the growth of Bulldog Skincare across international markets. This role will shape and bring to life the brand vision, creating compelling and effective campaigns across all consumer touchpoints to increase consumer penetration and grow market presence.

Reporting to the Marketing Director for Europe, the Head of Brand is the guardian of Bulldog Skincare and responsible for the short‑ and long‑term performance measured by market share and revenue growth, as well as the continuous strengthening and growth of the consumer franchise. This European Marketing leadership position partners closely with key internal and external stakeholders, senior commercial leaders, R&D and members of the European Leadership Team.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the brand strategy, innovation roadmap and deliver the annual strategic planning process for the brand.

Brand Strategy
  • Define the brand positioning and strategy to deliver ambitious penetration growth across Europe and guide the teams in translating the long‑term strategy plan into annual local brand plans.
  • Partner and collaborate regularly with local marketing teams to provide in‑depth assessment of the brand, actively investigating the root causes for performance and course‑correcting or accelerating as required.
  • Assess future market opportunities, category & channel approach and pricing strategy.
Insight
  • Use consumer shopper and customer insight to inform and strengthen brand strategy plans and campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of competitor activity and industry trends to develop and grow the brand position in market.
Campaigns
  • Create disruptive and effective brand communications in our consumers' everyday lives with exceptional execution throughout the consumer journey to deliver superior results.
Innovation
  • Lead the innovation agenda and roadmap in line with the brand positioning to unlock future growth opportunities.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end product development to realise future growth opportunities.
  • Develop superior product experiences that exceed consumers' needs.
Leadership
  • Coach and develop a team of exceptional marketers as well as lead a cross‑functional team across Media & Digital, Innovation, Revenue Growth and Portfolio Management.
  • Own the A&P budget in all aspects to maximise marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Required Skills & Experience
  • This position requires a demonstratable blend of strategic insight, creative leadership and the ability to execute at pace in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience leading regional brands and setting clear and compelling strategic plans and frameworks and experience across the full marketing mix.
  • Demonstrated experience managing comprehensive strategic marketing and communications, media relations and marketing programs.
  • Experience managing a team of direct and indirect reports and working within a matrix organisation with demonstrated success planning and accomplishing goals.
  • Experience with multiple creative and media agencies, crafting a brief, executing a creative plan and evaluating & executing media strategies.
  • Strong team player with the drive to help assure high quality standards.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, flexible, self‑motivated and able to succeed in a dynamic fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problem‑solving skills.
  • A strong combination of both creative and analytical skills is a must; understanding of budgets and product costing plus ability to proactively gather, analyse and evaluate complex data.
  • Strong financial acumen and accountability; influence the commercial performance with strong analytical skills and ability to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods, Personal Care or Beauty SPF experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in at least one other European language is an advantage.
Working Relationships
  • Reports to Marketing Director Europe
  • 2 Direct Reports, 4 teammates.

Strong collaboration with: Hubs Marketing teams, Digital Team, R&D and Regulatory teams.

Work Environment
  • Travel is required as direct reports will be in different hubs.
