We’re looking for a Head of Applications & Data based from our office in Glasgow. As Head of Applications & Data, you will be responsible for providing the application and data platforms Aggreko needs to accelerate growth, improve profitability, and enhance staff effectiveness.

What you’ll do

• Shape the future of our application and data landscape, setting a clear strategy across the full application lifecycle while partnering closely with vendors as their products evolve.
• Build, inspire, and grow a high‑performing team, creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and able to develop new skills as the business scales.
• Evolve how the team works, improving efficiency and effectiveness by making the most of our global footprint and close collaboration with the supply chain.
• Advance our business intelligence capabilities, ensuring they keep pace with new technologies, support performance management, and are underpinned by strong data governance and high‑quality data.
• Improve usability and automation across core systems and processes, enabling teams to work smarter and supporting rapid, sustainable growth.
• Provide confidence and resilience across our application and data estate by ensuring robust IT controls and SOX compliance.
