Head Nurse – Award-Winning Veterinary Practice | Woodford

Leadership & Development – Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team of RVNs, students, and VCAs, fostering professional growth and teamwork.

Varied Clinical Caseload – Enjoy a balanced 50/50 dog and cat split, with opportunities to develop skills in feline medicine, imaging, exotic care, and BOAS surgery.

Work-Life Balance – 4-day working week with 9-hour shifts, plus duty nights and a fair 1:4 weekend rota.

Modern, Accredited Practice – Purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities and an ISFM Cat-Friendly Clinic accreditation, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

About the Role

• Contract: 4 days per week (9-hour shifts)
• Rota: Duty nights & 1:4 weekends
• Location: Waltham Forest – a vibrant community with plenty of green spaces, just a short walk from the train station with onsite parking

As Head Nurse, you’ll play a key role in leading and mentoring a passionate team of RVNs, students, and VCAs. You’ll also be instrumental in maintaining the practice’s high standards of clinical excellence, while supporting the ongoing professional development of your colleagues.
