Senior Sous Chef | Glasgow Central Area | Full Time

The Role

As a Senior Sous Chef, you'll be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You'll support coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

What You Will Do

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure every dish meets high standards, supporting your team to do the same.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions on your feet.

What We Look For

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with and support your team.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs effectively.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate your team.
