Senior Sous Chef | Glasgow Central Area | Full Time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

If you |

  • Focus on creating a caring, supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent, role-modeling a coaching culture within management.
  • Are committed to providing an excellent guest experience, ensuring each dish meets high standards, and equipping your team with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Are experienced in maintaining food, health, and safety standards, and understand kitchen financials including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Prioritize building a coaching culture, working with your head chef on recruitment and development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Are a proactive problem solver, able to think quickly and make decisions on the spot.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with genuine conversations that ensure your team feels supported.
  • Experience maintaining high standards in food, health, safety, and financial performance including GP and stock control.
