Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Head Chef who puts kindness at the heart of every service in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will lead the kitchen team to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals that respect residents' dietary needs and cultural preferences, while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

You’ll manage stock, budgets, and orders, ensure HACCP compliance, work with central teams, and shape mealtimes into enjoyable dining experiences for residents.

Qualifications

• S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
• Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals.
• Manage stock, budgets and supplier orders efficiently.
• Ensure HACCP and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Create ambient dining experiences and cater to residents’ preferences.
