Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Head of Service to lead catering operations across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist Care homes. You will prioritise resident well-being, ensuring nutritious meals, hygienic kitchens and compliant processes while supporting a respectful, kind culture.

The role requires kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety and safety regulations, plus strong organisation and team leadership to deliver high-quality services for residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience and awareness of relevant food safety laws.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents.
• Assist with cakes and desserts for daily tea and lunch service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene.
• Monitor fridge/freezer temperatures and stock supplies.
• Train new starters on equipment and recipes.
