Job summary

VisionTrack in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Solutions Engineer / Pre-Sales Engineer to bridge sales, product and engineering, designing and delivering hardware-inclusive solutions for customers. You will contribute to demos, RFPs, and PoCs, turning complex technology into practical, real-world deployments.

The role is hybrid with a strong emphasis on customer engagement and collaboration across teams to ensure successful deployments and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a Solutions Engineer, Presales, Applications Engineer or similar role with exposure to hardware.
• Experience with vehicle telematics or camera/video systems hardware is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engagements by understanding technical and operational requirements.
• Help design end-to-end solutions across hardware, platform and integrations.
• Work closely with Sales to support demos, proposals and technical discussions.
• Contribute to RFPs, tenders and PoC activities.
• Produce clear solution documentation (configurations, assumptions, risks).
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to feed in customer requirements.
• Support onboarding and early-stage deployments.
