Job Title: Painter/Decorator - Carpentry Snagger - Handyman

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable tradesperson with a strong background in painting, decorating, basic carpentry, and general handyman duties to join a large residential project in Bridgwater. The role involves finishing works, snagging, and maintaining high standards of workmanship across a variety of tasks on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out painting, decorating, and finishing works to a high standard (interior & exterior).
• Undertake carpentry snagging, including door adjustments, skirting, architraves, and minor joinery.
• Perform general handyman tasks such as minor repairs, fittings, and maintenance.
• Complete snag lists provided by the site manager or client.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with health & safety regulations.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Provide a professional and customer‑focused service at all times.

Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience as a painter/decorator, carpenter, or multi‑trades handyman.
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Knowledge of tools, materials, and safe working practices.
• Ability to work from snag lists and rectify defects efficiently.
• Good problem‑solving skills and flexibility to take on varied tasks.
• CSCS card.
• Own tools and transport.
