Job summary

Okarno is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead and support our warehouse operations on a rotating shift pattern. You will help coordinate daily activities, allocate tasks and monitor progress to ensure safe, efficient and reliable service for customers.

You’ll work on Week 1: Mon–Thu 06:00–14:00, Fri 06:00–13:00; Week 2: Mon–Thu 14:00–22:00, Fri 13:00–20:00. This is a full-time role on the shop floor, with hands-on leadership and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution environments with knowledge of picking, packing, stock handling and dispatch.
• Experience guiding or coaching colleagues, with ability to allocate tasks and direct on the shop floor.
• Strong commitment to health and safety, quality and high operational standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, hands-on leader who works alongside the team to achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities and allocate tasks to maintain daily warehouse operations.
• Work with warehouse colleagues to ensure orders are completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Provide guidance, coaching and feedback to team members to promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Identify operational issues, assist with problem-solving and escalate concerns when needed.
• Model safe working practices, uphold quality standards and maintain operational discipline across the warehouse.
