Job summary

Great Bear on-site team is seeking a confident Warehouse Team Leader to supervise a small four-person crew on a rotating Days/Nights 4 on 4 off shift. You will lead shop-floor activities, ensure safety, quality and customer service standards, and handle essential admin tasks while on the floor.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving, with forklift experience or licences considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to support and guide a small team.
• Strong communication and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and motivate a small warehouse team to deliver daily operational targets.
• Manage day-to-day shop floor operations to keep the area safe and efficient.
• Coordinate a busy loading and unloading schedule to ensure smooth operations.
• Complete safe and legal checks, compliance activity and required paperwork.
• Support palletised storage and distribution where forklift activity is key.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, housekeeping and operational discipline.
• Assist with wider warehouse duties and priorities as needed.
